The Mini Lane Rope Pendant is designed to be the smaller, more accessible version of the original Lane Rope pendant. Growing up as a competitive swimmer much of my life was spent in the water, this pendant is reminiscent of the form of the individual beads on a lane rope.
This piece is a part of the ‘Mnemosyne’ collection, named after the Greek Goddess of memory, this collection embodies lasting impressions of my past, capturing intangible memories within tangible forms. Mnemosyne is inspired by textures, shapes, and sensations from my childhood spent in Hong Kong. The work reinterprets familiar forms through abstract designs that embrace imperfection and tactile intimacy.
